The following terms and conditions apply to all contracts that you conclude with us as a supplier via our online shop. Unless otherwise agreed, the inclusion of your own conditions may be excluded.
A consumer within the meaning of the following regulations is any natural person who concludes a legal transaction that is overwhelmingly neither commercial nor their independent professional activity. The term “businessman” refers to any natural person, legal person or legally responsible partnership who concludes a legal transaction as part of their independent professional or commercial activity.
Conclusion of contract
The purchase contract is concluded with Carpet Plaza. The presentation of the products in the online shop is not a legally binding offer, but a non-binding online catalog. The contract is concluded when you click the order button to accept the offer for the goods in the shopping cart. Immediately after submitting the order, you will receive another confirmation by email. With this e-mail confirmation, the purchase contract is concluded. The contract language is English. If you select a different language, you will be taken out of the shop and directed to the country-specific page
When placing an order, the agreement of purchase is reached when your payment has been transferred.
All prices include VAT. For deliveries to non-EU countries, duties, taxes, or other fees may apply. Additional Shipping costs will be announced before the contract is concluded. We reserve the right to change our prices to exchange rate fluctuations or changes in the world market for carpets.
All deliveries are handled by DHL/UPS/GLS. We are unable to ship to box addresses.
UPS Terms and Conditions of Carriage
We offer a warranty on all products purchased from us. The warranty is applicable for 1 year from the date you receive your rug. If the customer refers to the warranty, and it is judged that the damage depends on bad handling by the customer will pay the costs of any reparation. Our expert staff will in the first place determine the cause of the damage. The customer pays all shipping costs in case of warranty reparations.
You have the right to revoke this contract within fourteen days without specifying any reasons
The revocation period is fourteen days with effect from the day, on which you or a third party nominated by you, which is not the carrier, had taken possession of the products, provided you had ordered one or more products within the scope of a standard order and this/this product/products is/are delivered uniformly.
In order to exercise your revocation right, you must inform us (CarpetPlaza distribution center, Josef-Österreicher-Gasse 41-43,1230, Vienna, Austria. Email: Info@Carpet-Plaza.com. Phone: +43-720-1111006) of your decision to revoke this contract by means of a clear declaration (e.g. a letter sent via post, fax or email). You can use the enclosed specimen revocation form for this, which however is not mandatory.
In order to safeguard the revocation period, it is sufficient that you send the notification about the exercise of the revocation right before the expiry of the revocation period.
Consequences of the revocation
If you revoke this contract, we shall repay all the payments, which we received from you, including shipping costs (except additional costs, which arise from the fact that you selected a form of delivery other than the most reasonable standard delivery offered by us), immediately and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we received the notification about the revocation of this contract from you. We use the same means of payment, which you had originally used during the original transaction, for this repayment unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; you will not be charged any fees owing to this repayment.
You can return many items sold on Carpet Plaza. When you return an item, you may see different return options depending on the seller, item or reason for return.
We can refuse the repayment until the products are returned to us or until you have furnished evidence that you have sent the products back to us, depending on whichever is earlier.
You must return or transfer the products to us immediately and, in any case, at the latest within the first fourteen days with effect from the day on which you inform us of the revocation of this contract. The deadline is maintained if you send the products before the expiry of the fourteen-day deadline.
We bear the costs of returning the products.
You must pay for any depreciation of the products only if this depreciation can be attributed to any handling with you that was not necessary for checking the condition, features, and functionality of the products.
30-day money-back guarantee
Without prejudice to your statutory rights, Carpet Plaza provides you with the following voluntary returns guarantee for all carpets purchased, The deadline of the voluntary returns guarantee begins with the end of the statutory right of cancellation and ends within 30 days after receiving the product. Punctual returning is sufficient to meet the deadline. Note that the product(s) must be complete and in unused and undamaged condition. We only take back the products in the original wrap or any similar wrap, to use your 30-day money-back guarantee privilege. You can return your carpet within 30 days and get your money for orders above 300 euros. but for orders under 300 euros, you will receive a coupon of the same monetary value, which is valid for 1 year. The carpet has to be in unaltered condition and should not have been used. You have to package the carpet the same way as it was when you received it. The customer pays for the shipping costs in both directions if Carpet Plaza is not informed in the first 14 days and returned the product in the first 30 days.
In this case, the customer will pay both ways of shipping cost, which means that if the customer does not return the goods before fourteen days, we will refund the entire cost without shipping costs.
Note: for the purchase under 300 euro, the customer will receive the same amount coupon which is valid for 1 year.
When sending back a carpet you first have to contact us. It is your responsibility that the carpet arrives in an undamaged condition. Make sure that the carpet is well packed.
The returns must be organized and handled by Carpet Plaza through our authorized courier partners. If the customer personally returns the purchased items, Carpet Plaza will not return the courier fees.
If the free return of an item/product is not offered on an item, you can choose our Safe Order as a return option to extend return notice and delivery days and additional 16 days. The Safe Order includes free return on the Carpet Plaza expense.
The customer pays for return shipping.
When a return is completed the same card or bank account you used for the purchase will be credited or receive a coupon for a purchase under 300 Euro. If we receive returning goods without the proper return dispatch note the goods will be sent back at the customer’s expense. If a product is returned and is not in the original condition, the return will not be accepted. In this case, the customer will not be refunded for the product and will be responsible for shipping costs if they wish to have the product returned to them.
VAT free for companies within the EU
Companies that are VAT registered in an EU country other than Austria and that can show a valid EU VAT number will not be charged VAT. The prices on the website are shown with VAT; the VAT is drawn at checkout after you have logged in or registered. We deliver only to the address where the company is registered. All orders placed with us by any company will be considered as a B2B order. For these orders, there can be exceptions in regard to returns, shipping fees and general terms and conditions. Carpet Plaza offers you the following ways to pay:

Using prepayment you will receive our banking information with the order confirmation and deliver as soon as we receive the payment.
– Credit card payment
Carpet Plaza accepts VISA, verified by VISA, MasterCard, MasterCard, and American Express. During the procedure, you have to enter your credit card number. This will be recorded by STRIPE and only be delivered to the directly involved credit card companies.
Carpet Plaza does not save your credit card information. All data will be SSL secured.
You can pay easily with the online payment system PayPal. Notice that you need to be registered to use the system. You will receive more information during the process.
– Payment on account and finance with Klarna
In collaboration with Klarna, we are offering your purchases on account and payment in installments as a payment option. Please note that Klarna payment on account and payment by installments are only available to consumers and each payment shall be made to Klarna.

– Payment on delivery
The commissioned carrier will receive the payment when he delivers the product(s).
Costs incurred 20 Euro With this kind of payment.
We do not deliver to packing stations.
Error on delivery
If something is wrong with your delivery, or if you receive the wrong or a damaged carpet or the wrong number of carpets please contact customer service immediately. The error has to be reported within a reasonable time frame.
Visible damage to the goods shall be reported directly to UPS/DHL/GLS when receiving the package. Hidden damages from transportation have to be reported to UPS/DHL/GLS as soon as they are discovered.
Goods in the “second” classification have minor flaws or faults which are shown in the description of the item.
Certificate of authenticity
We guarantee, that the delivered carpet is hand-knotted. For each carpet worth more than 200 EUR we hand out a certificate of authenticity. For carpets worth under 200 EUR a certificate of authenticity can be handed out on request.
Customized/bespoke orders If you are interested in ordering larger quantities and/or customized items, then contact our B2B support at firstname.lastname@example.org for more details in regard to what is possible. For these occasions, a separate contract will be provided by us to be signed and agreed on by the two parties. Keep in mind that for customized/bespoke orders there will be an extended delivery time and that we charge a 30 % non-refundable down payment once the agreement has been made. This down payment needs to be finalized before we can go forward and order the items from our suppliers. All orders need to be paid in full, if and when carpets are in stock before anything can be sent out from our warehouses.
Carpets that are not received by the customer and returned to us
Carpets that are ordered and not received or are returned to us due to the customer not being available for several delivery attempts will be charged 40 Euro including VAT for our administration costs. Special customized ordered products are charged the full value.
Confidentiality when handling personal information
When placing an order or registering as a customer we will store your personal information. By doing this you accept that we store the information we need to complete the handling of your order and give you the best service you expect from us.
Carpet-plaza.com will not give any personal information to any third party. According to Austrian law on handling of personal information, you can get an excerpt of all information we have stored about you and, if it is not relevant, you can ask us to delete the information. In case you wish to have the excerpt please contact our customer service.
The gift certificate is only valid for purchases of products sold by Carpet-plaza and cannot be combined with other gift certificates. The certificate is valid until and including the date shown on the certificate. If you buy a carpet with your gift certificate and decide to return the carpet, you will receive another gift certificate with the value of the carpet, less the shipping costs incurred during the return. If you have any balance from a previous purchase on your gift certificate, you may use it for a carpet purchase. But if you purchase a carpet with a higher value than the gift certificate you should pay for the difference by bank transfer. The gift certificate should be considered as cash since it has value and you should take care of it. Carpet-plaza will not accept liability for lost, stolen, or damaged gift certificates.
